Garden design
How does it work?
The first step is to send us some photos of your space and have a phone call with Tom to discuss what you are hoping to achieve. Next would be an on site meeting so that Tom can understand the space better and discuss things in more detail. He would also carry out a survey, noting key measurements, aspect and important details.
You will then be sent a moodboard(s) to include the style of planting, materials and any other elements. You will also be sent a hand-drawn sketch(es) to give you an idea of a particular view in the garden and the proposed layout.
We source all plants and soft landscaping materials by visiting various nurseries across the UK and selecting the best specimens and plant selections for the purpose. We will provide a quote to include all plants and installation costs.
Hard landscaping elements will be quoted for and installed by a third party contractor, who we can liaise with to discuss the project and oversee key moments in the build.
Once any hard landscaping elements have been installed, we will install all the planting and complete the project.
How much does it cost?
There will be a design fee, which will depend on the size and complexity of the space. We will be able to tell you this once we have met on site, but as a guide this could be from £400 - £1,000+, plus VAT.
In terms of the project cost, again this depends on the size and complexity of the project. If you have a budget in mind, please say and we can work within that.
We will send you an invoice for the design fee after our meeting. We will send you an invoice for 50% of the quoted project amount after the design stage, and then an invoice for the balancing amount based on actual spend after the project is completed.

You will then be sent a moodboard(s) to include the proposed style of planting with a simple sketch layout.

Consultancy + advice
How does it work?
If you are looking for some advice and direction with your space, but don't want a full blown design, then Tom offers a consultancy and advice session. This can be done online (using your photos) or in person.
Online - Once you send through photos of your space, Tom will put together some suggestions for new planting, pruning and/or plant care.
In person - This will be a 1 hour meeting with Tom on site to discuss any questions you might have. You can make your own notes and then take on board any suggestions in your own time.
In person with further notes - This will also be a 1 hour meeting with Tom on site, but after the meeting Tom will put all the notes together with suggestions and send these to you.
