Underneath the existing Cherry and Birch trees, a mix of shade loving perennials, ferns and shrubs were planted to create a patchwork woodland meadow.
The planting was mixed and spread throughout the space, which means that the colour and texture of each plant is evenly spread throughout too.
A succession of colour and interest was key so that plants flourished one after the other to create a scheme that seamlessly ebbs and flows throughout the year.
