Dry River Garden
This front garden was completely cleared and two gnarled olive trees were introduced as the focal points of the scheme. The idea was to use cobbles and boulders to create a dry river bed that the olive trees would emerge from. Raised organic shapes form the beds in which a perennial mix has been planted. This meadow style planting will provide a succession of colour from spring to winter, while the olives and the dwarf pines will add structure and form round the year.
